Tastes is happening this Fall!

Be sure to come hungry on Sunday, September 28, 2014 to taste the area's best restaurants at our outdoor foodie extravaganza to benefit the Lab School. Please join us for a wonderful afternoon of tasting and savoring in the crisp autumn air.

From Chelsea to the Meatpacking District, dozens of the city's top chefs will grace Gansevoort Street and its cobblestoned plaza for a good cause - all proceeds go to benefit The Lab School for Collaborative Studies!

Back by popular demand: RAFFLE! Among items are exciting offers from SoulCycle and Equinox. You can also be a lucky winner of a Maritime Hotel stay, or win a signed celebrity cookbook! Buy online or at the will call table on the day of event.

NEW this year! We will be the first street fair in the U.S. to use the Whole Earth Calculator, a new app that provides meaningful input on the utilization of leftovers that will be picked up after the event. We'll tweet the results!

This is such a great addition to our ZERO-WASTE ideal. Every year we aim to throw nothing "away." We collect all food scraps, utensils, and serving dishes. Even the gloves the servers will wear are made of compostable materials (sugar cane). Most everything else is recycled.
